Why do you suggest that RAM?

You keep suggesting RAM that is more and more expensive.

Since I have built a computer that is under my target price range, I want to keep it around $1000.

Is there anything wrong with the Crucial RAM that I have selected?

cas latency is 3, on the intel system youre building, the ocz ram will be 2 . . .

2-3-3-6 to be exact. . . lower latency is better (to an extent, 2-2-2-5 isnt really need)

I am not building an Intel system. It is going to be AMD.

I was told in earlier posts that the memory that I have selected, (Crucial) will work with my motherboard and configurations.

it'll work, hes just saying the other one will be faster

oh and you could a 9800 pro for like $195 and then over clock it to 9800xt....i think it'll be faster but im not too sure

but i think it'll be better if you get a 9800 pro with the vga cooler and OC it to 9800xt...since the msi comes with the 9800xt core

Ok. I went to Fry's and got some good deals on a sweet system.

- ATi Raedon 9800 Pro 128 MB Video Card

Right now, my CPU temp is around 106 F

I am using the Intel CPU Cooler that came with the processor.

Would you recommend that I get an aftermarket cpu cooler to help keep those temps down?
