temperatures

So I'm guessing I'm paranoid, but are these temps normal?

Intel E8400 both cores idling at 47 degrees C

8800GTS G92 idling at 57 degrees C

I am in mexico where the average temp is 80 degrees F.

my 8800gts idles 10 degrees higher than yours, i checked with evga.. they say its normal.

u might try remounting ur cpu cooler cuz that seems pretty high but as long as ur cpu load doesnt go over 65 ur fine but ur gpu temp is normal

Your CPU is high, are these BIOS temps or Windows temps?

yea also use realtemp not coretemp if ur using that, coretemp has some problems with 45nm cpu's

Just after playing Left4dead for bout an hour
realtemp reads it at 44C whereas coretemp told me 51C.

No overclock.

EDIT:
I OCed the bus speed to 340 so i'm running at 3.5Ghz, and the temp is still at 43C...

maybe something in your computer is telling your cpu fan to keep it at that temp.

Hows yur airflow in the case? You have a cooler or stock HSF?

I've got an after market heatsink on it, as far as airflow goes, my antec 300 has its top fan (over CPU) and back fan (above GPU and aside CPU) blowing outward whereas my two from fans (in the face of tower) one is sucking in and one is blowing out.
I think I'll reverse the top fan to blow onto the CPU.
