That's what I said.. Will the 4850x2 run at 8x, or 4x, or both? And nobody ever answered my question about Crossing a 4850 with a 4870...

It depends on the motherboard. Some are 8x when you SLI/Crossfire, some are 16x on 1 card and 8x on the other card. But since most cards now are PCI-Express 2.0, the bandwidth has been doubled. So whether you get 8x or 16x doesn't really matter.

so would this PSU be good, i know its a bit to much wats for what i want but the price is great and it looks pretty tight plus the fan is 140mm, does it have 2x6 pin connectors ? i think it has 4x6 pin but im just making sure ?

yes that psu would handle 2 of the gtx 260's in sli and have room for one more

yes but if that coke can is gold plated, im willing to spend the extra lol, Im a style/performance type guy, i love style, im big on that, also big on performance, but why should i get this PSU when i can get the other one for around the same price and it would come in handy for future upgrades, incase i ever wanted to get another GTX 260 216(id have to get a new mobo).

anandtech said theoretical is 12.5% but in current games it sees around a 6% performance boost
