i do pretty heavy multi-tasking between photoshop, illustrator, burning iso's, compressing, playing music, and doing lots of web browsing all at once... i generally will have 4 or so psd's going at once along with 1 or 2 ai's running.. so i can say i make the best of my quad core and memory.. lol which i need 4 gigs... dangit

1.25....VID doesn't really seem to mean much on the 45nm dualies though.

That said, I just got my e8600 to 4.7ghz @ 1.464v seems stable so far

ya 1.5 was about my stable point for 4.8 ghz.. i wasnt able to get anything higher than that with any voltage for my e8500..but again that brings me back to possible ram failure not being able to keep up

Must be ram. These chips need good mobo/ram to run high.
