Ok I disabled speedstep and I am getting the same numbers. Any ideas???
also some what off topic. For some reason when I hit the DELETE key on my usb keyboard it will not boot up the bios. I have to plugin my 10 year old kb to get the bios to come up. However if I want to hit F9 on my usb keyboard to select boot order I have no issues???
EDIT: Ok this is weird!! I launched the cpuz app again. At first it said the core speed was 2500 something then it just jumped down to 1700 something. Then for split second it went to 2500's and in the blink of an eye back to 1700 and now it just sits there.
