I want to get mor Ram for my comp and I want to be able to oc it without any trouble. I searched Newegg and go these:

1. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-141-145&depa=0

2. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-144-514&depa=0

3. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-144-140&depa=0

4. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-146-293&depa=0

Which one is better? I think the Geil? I'm on a budget and don't want to spend mor than 160$

are you gonna throw out your own kingston ram?

i like either the kingston or the mushkin . . . biasedly . . . the kingston

the mushikin ram has the best timings (2) vs the 2.5 on the others but is also the most expensive

really, theres no difference between 2 and 2.5 . . .

maybe 2 and 4 . . .

but say in a game, its a difference of 60 fps and 60.25 fps

Thanks I think I'll get the cheaper one, but why does the mushkin have timings of 2-3-3 and the Geil has 2.5-6-3-3,I think theres a number missing?

Another question, Does mixing my current value Ram with some of this better stuff change the performance? I know that the stuff I have is PC3200 and the other stuff is PC3500 but does it matter when I oc?

no you shouldnt run it with your current ram, it will run at pc-3200 instead of pc-3500

Thats what I was planning on doing. Maybe I can go for 1Gb with the money I get from that plus some other stuff I just sold.
