Dead Hard drives. **** I hate them, all the hours, and hours of countless downloading down the drain.

Downloading legal programs and applications of course

i had an HDD die on me a couple weeks ago... luckily it was just an old Raptor drive i was using as boot drive... still so annoying!! that's why a nice redundant RAID array is always nice

i think i might to a 20/30gb partition on my hdd for xp just to get in my 3dmark 06 run.

hey, do yourself a favor, , push it to the limit, and take the heatsink off after about 20 min of prime95=)

be sure to disable the automatic shutdown!

lol, or waterblock, or compressor,


either way theres a chunk of copper between the processor, and whatever is cooling it=P


remove it when it hits its peak temp=)

=D it wont blow up, if anything it will shut down....

under extreme circumstances it might pop and smoke a little...

i did it with an athlon xp back in the day

the funny part was the pentium 4 equivilent at the time (the huge one, not the s478)
just slowed down to a crawl, and didnt burn up, but the athlon did=)

there are videos of it online

(the video with a processor exploding through a table , they cut a hole in the table and put a firework in there ... it was made up)

Thats because the P4 had a temp diode in it. The Athlon did not.
