Will a 9800GX2 run crysis warhead in full graphics ?

I believe it will probably do it at like 60 fps or something assuming that the rest of your pc parts are up to snuff. 60 is good though, so no worries.

Yes, unlike Crysis, Crysis Warhead is programmed good so hardly any cards actually struggle with it maxed out...

Should i wait for a 5850, or buy a 4850 now, and CF it with a 4870, later?

Nope, graphics are better and less demanding...

Don't threadjack... but its up to you.. I'm a patient guy, because I waited like 6 years to upgrade from my crappy P4 rig to this... and Tech-Forums gave me 80% of my rig parts anyways . You may not be..

Because the HD 3850 512mb was just as fast as the HD 2900XT

They're not even finished developing 4 series cards yet. I don't think the 5 series will be out for months. A crossfire of a 4850 and 4870 will last for a long time though, so you should be fine.

How much would the 5850 probably be? And how fast would the price go down? And should I wait for quad cores to go down, because I want a 45 nm.
