**the word see isnt supposed to be in the title**!!!Hey hows it going, Im having a bit of an issue with my lite on dvd/cd-r drive. When I put in a cd the thing reads it but in the my computer screen the d: drive doesn't show a disc. If it helps this started a couple days ago when i canceled a cd burn mid umm... burn session? Also another thing is I installed multiple cd burn software apps on my computer I dont know if that would impact anything. As far as the trouble shooting I powered the comp off/on i tried to restore to an earlier point to see if it was a s/w issue, I tried to update drivers but i wasnt able to find right driver set and I also verified that the registry had 2 set as value ( 2=cr/rw ) none of these have worked. Any advice? should i just by a new drive? and how would i install if it my current drive wouldnt be able to read the s/w cd that would come w/ the new hardware?
