DirectX error (d3derr_driverinternalerror)

I have a game called Everquest 2, ive had it for a long time, but i quit, i have now restarted playing it and for some reason this keeps coming up, i can play from 30 seconds to 30 minutes, but this alwyas happens and my whole computer freezes.

This keeps coming up, and it also says on another tab that my driver has had a fatal error and i must reboot my computer, i have done so but still nothing. i dont know what to do, it also makes my computer screen go back into the older versions, such as windows 1990's
