Always plugged in is this ok?

As title my laptops battery only lasts 30-45mins when unplugged so i just leave it plugged in most the time, is that ok or will it ruin the battery after a while?

Some people say yes, some say no. I leave mine plugged in all the time cause I use it at my desk and it's on 24/7 unless I take it somewhere. If your battery only lasts 30 minutes there's no real reason to worry, it's time for a new battery anyways. What you could try is draining the battery down to 2-3% and then doing a full recharge, that may recondition it a bit.
