nice score for a "n00b"... but that processor OCs really really nice... and gets sweet pi times... what kinda cooling you got on that?? with a decent water setup you should be able to crack 5GHz+ and get some sub 10 second runs

i only bought a cooler because it was in combo with the cpu wasn't planning on getting one

....... he'll get some sub 9s times if he tweaks his system, he doesnt need 5ghz

just like i got 36.625s with 2800mhz , and i got 33s with the same setup on a cleaned out windows system

^^^its true. They're are so many tweaks to get good 3dmark and pi. Its finding the right settings thats the hard part

Sweet over clock Rich. You managed to keep the VID at 1.35 as well. Once I do over a .5ghz over clock I need to up my VID to keep it stable.

well i thought it was 1.424? it says core voltage 1.424 in cpu-z=)

if im wrong plz correct me cause i dont have a clue, all i know is i cant increase any volts in bios=*(

oh and uh

its amazing if that really is stock volts (i thought the bios was increasing it automatically..)

because i got it stable at 3.0ghz .........

i'll post a screenshot somtime tonight


thats a 1.0ghz overclock=)

if its on stock voltage i'll probably volt mod it and push it as far as i can,

the temps are staying at 55c max so far=)

lol, im gonna kill this little 3800+

at stock settings (2000mhz core, 200mhz FSB, 1000mhz HT)

i get 48.562 seconds

at 2800mhz , 860~ht, and 280fsb,

i get 33~ seconds


thats a **** of a difference.....

im gonna post it at 3ghz here in a minute when i finish downloading this game=)

thats over 1s per 100mhz,

so im hoping to get around 30s or 29

that will put me right up there in the top 4

on a 3800+ 939 with ddr1 hehehehehehehehe

Yeah I get about 30seconds myself. When my sunbeam core contact arrives hopefully I can push another .2ghz at least and maybe like .3 or .4ghz. So then I will probably get like 25~26 Pi Time.
