if im not mistaken the athlon 64s have an on-die memory controller.....

i honestly dont know WHY, but i know i had 2 of the same motherboard, and both were brand new

and both did the same thing=P

at 2.5-2.7ghz its just not stable, not even super-pi stable somtimes, and i get corrupted files

actually the 2.8ghz last time worked perfectly (just like its working now,)
except when i tried to run windows setup (to repair windows), i ran into some issues

so i decided it wasnt worth it, and pressed f3 to exit before i even got started

so i didnt REALLY do anything to the drive

but guess what, the MBR was shot, the DDO was corrupted (i didnt evne think i had a ddo.. this bios sees the size of the drive.....)

and i lost 168gigs of priceless info
