Isn't the G24 suppose to be better?

Acer G24
Brightness 400 cd/m2
Contrast Ratio 50000:1 (ACM)
Response Time 2ms(GTG)

Samsung ToC 24"
Brightness 300 cd/m2
Contrast Ratio DC 20000:1(1000:1)
Response Time 5ms

What does this have to be related with LCD Monitors. The resolution is less than a 24" LCD monitor & I have 2 Sony BRAVIA 52" HDTV 1080p.

Well for starters it is a LCD monitor (as the title suggests "Westinghouse LVM-37w3se LCD Monitor") and its resolution is the same as a 24" it just has a different aspect ratio... Though congratulations on your two Bravias.

Yes, you are correct about the different aspect ratio.
24" - 16:10
HDTV - 16:9

HDTV pixels are larger but you are wrong about the resolution. They aren't the same but close. I think the HDTV has the same resolution to a 22" LCD Monitor.

Wow....

16:10 = 1920 x 1200
16:9 = 1920 x 1080

When comparing different aspect ratios they can't possibly be the exact same resolution obviously. But within their own respective aspect ratios they are, for the most part, the same.

A 22" monitor at 16:10 is 1680 x1050.

The pixels are only as large as the display so one of those plasma billboards that you see in major shopping areas in megacities with 1920x1080 actually have pisels the size of a fist
