9800gt vs 9800gtx

Hi,
planning to upgrade my graphic to 9800gt or 9800gtx, both are in my budget range.

Here in germany the price difference between 9800gt and gtx is around 50 euro. So i would like to know what is the performance difference between them..

i'd say you'd average a 15-20 fps difference depending on resolution and the sort... i myself notice d abig difference between 8800gt and 8800gts g92... and this is the same exact case.. only now its like a super beefed 8800gts..

so in my honest opinion.. because i'm just the kind of guy that likes bleed edge... i'd do it

well ur question should be as follows; should i get a 9800gt or a 4850? the 9800gtx is now discontinued and not worth buying and also there is a new revision out (9800gtx+), since he 4850 is the same price and better than both, its the best choice.

No, you can't use that motherboard for crossfire, nor can you use NVidia graphics cards. You could however do SLi.

SLI only broski... but the HD 4850 is sufficient for maxing games at 1920x1200 (Except Crysis) so its not really necessary to Crossfire if you have at leat that

soem 8800gts are suer beefed, im on 801, 2000, and 1050, preaty amazing clocks for an 8800gts. im betting the bfg is better then my xfx as the bfg most likely has the newer samsung ram on it. on idle my temps are 42, and 32, at load they go to abotu 55 and 48. amazing temps for such high over clocks. also since i started sli im tossing all the bad stuff ive herd out of the window so far, ive noticed such a diference its amazing.

ya, i loved my 8800gtx sli... and my 9800gx2 sli.... i never understood all the trash talk... and its funny it comes from alot of people who never owned SLi
