It doesn't even stand a chance. Even the 2.66 owns it.
I have a XP 3200+ and i think it's crap. Besides, they are budget cpu and will be discontinued in 2005.

yeah thats basically the point. You get near better performance with AMD at a lower cost. the P4 2.66 BARELY beat out the 3200+ and that 3200+ is 460MHz lower. You gotta give it to AMD being that they can own a 3.4GHz P4 with less MHz than P4 and still be able to stand up to the challenge. Just putting a 3200+ in a test with a 3.4 Pentium goes to show you that its a formidable adversary. If there was an AMD running at 3.4GHz that pentium would wet itself
