No connection!!

I have a serious problem with my inspiron.........once I start up I get this text box saying a dll file cant be found and with that I have no internet connection with my dsl modem. how can i fix this problem? the file is wftafdi16! there are some more numbers at the end will get the full file name if needed!

Have you tried to reinstall the driver? Have you tried to scan for spyware and viruses?

Found 6 trojans on the hard drive....healed and removed them! I have not reinstalled the driver.......will try that and let you know how it goes!

Reinstalled the driver but it didnt work out.......so I am cleaning out the harddrive of my things and will reinstall a fresh version of xp pro.

I did a clean wipe and everything seems to be going okay now!
