CPU-Z Validator 2.1 -> highest air only Phenom 9950 OC in history by japan's tanuki

CPU-Z Validator 2.1 -> 2nd highest air only by chris_oktabit of greece

so yes... it is possible to get a 9950 above 3.5GHz on air... mind you those are both BEs... but you can get a straight 9950 to 3.2GHz (sorry... above hit the '5' instead of '2' -> typo) on air eg, here's a straight 9950 @ 3.1GHz on air (i couldn find a 3.2GHz on air quickly) -> CPU-Z Validator 2.1

3.6/3.5 would be very nice for that phenom, i know the 9950 is preaty comparable to the q6600, and i can say teh diference between 3.0 and 3.5/6 is insane. and it gets even better when your up to 3.8/4.0 with intel. you will definatly want atleast 3.5 when you do yoru crossfire, sicne it will take away the most botle neck possible on those gpu's, im running 2 8800gts in sli and 3.6 bottle necks them
