nahh nvidia is not fail... ati just made an amazing card right now

if a gtx280 is about twice as good as the old flagship (8800ultra of 9800gtx+) then they did good

once the gtx280(gx2 double card) is out... i bet everyones gonna jump back on the nvidia wagon...

and now that gtx280's are only 400 dollars.... it now isnt such a rip off

That is true. It's funny how they build up the 2900 but the 4870 was the one that put them back in the game.

Yes I'll admit that too two 280's in sli cant be beat, but for the the cash a 4870x2 aint all that bad. Regardless the 5870 will decide whether ATI makes it or breaks it for the next year.

the whole idea of having a nforce chipset puts me off sli, bad vdroop, very expensive, post codes that dont exist, then list goes on. its great that intel will be releasing the x58 with sli compatibility so we no longer need nforce chipsets.

so as for that any of my current parts going down in price or are better versions coming out soon? i'm prolly a month or two away from actually buying but the way things are going right now that will be here in no time at all.
