Intel Processor run down

The 65nm core 2's are still good but, at least for the dual cores, the 45nm ones aren't more expensive so there's no reason to get the 65nm ones.

It wasn't AMD I was taking into consideration. Because Intel over clocks much higher then AMD. It was 65nm chips and 45nm chips where 45nm performs 5~10% faster. Wasn't it that Intel Chips were 5~10% faster when matched against a similar AMD chip? Along with the fact that Intel like I mentioned over clocks much higher.

its probably worth mentioning that the newest dual editions e8500/600 are the best cpu's to date for overclocking paired with a p45 motherboard.

just makes u realize how many chips there are, i forgot about alot of the non mainstream ones not alot of people buy.
