What Motherboard for my High Performance computer????

Hi

I have a custom rig. It doesn't boot tho, I'm told the CPU or Motherboard is likely the culprit. The message says "No Signal Detected" and the graphics card and monitor and ram have all been tested.

My rig:

Thermaltake 850W Toughpower
Thermaltake Tsunami case
Intel Core 2 Duo 6420 CPU....
Asus P5N-E Motherboard...
Asus DVD-RW, Sata connectors
Creative X-Fi
(2x) 320 Gb drive
XFX 8800 GTS Extreme Edition
(2x) Corsair(?) Ballistix
Zalman 9700 CPU fan

I'm gonna probably get a new motherboard as the P5N-E has failed twice and been replaced twice and I'm guessing that the Core 2 Duo chips are pretty reliable.

Regardless, can anyone advise me on...

1) whether it's likely to be the motherboard or cpu; i'm not exactly rich as it is
2) what motherboard would be best? ...I have (2x) Corsair(?) Ballistix Tracers(?) (the ones with the LED's) that I have new in packaging and if i'm gonna get the motherboard replaced I'd like one that can work with 4 sticks/dual channel.

the ideal timing for the ram is 4-4-4-12 and I believe it's 667 Mhz...

If it is the board the Biostar TP45HP would be a good replacement.

+1 for mobo, also 4-4-4-12 for 667 mhz ram is pretty bad, 4-4-4-12 is the standard timings for 800 mhz ddr2
