Have any of you heard about a computer creating radio inteference on the AM band? Whenever I power on my computer, you can hear the HDD spin up on a radio tuned to any AM station, and the noise is so loud you can't hear anything...is this a problem with my power supply, or what? I would really appreciate any help.

Here's the specs for my comp:

Turbo Dreamer Case w/350w power supply w/Clear acrylic side
Athlon XP 2500+
512 RAM
GeForce FX 5200 Vid. Card
40GB WD Hard drive
17" CRT Monitor
CD-RW
DVD-ROM
and various other minor computer parts

Thanks for any advice. :D

All electronic devices give of electromagnetic disturbance in the air. That is why they say you should not put wireless recivers for wireless keyboard/mouse next to monitors or pc's.

I have never heard of hard drives effecting radios, but i suppose i have never had it that close to the hard drive? How far away is the radio from the pc???
