whoa lol this topic went off topic but i still tried 100MHz but it still goes down to 1x but 105MHz goes back up to 16x and how long should it be running at 105MHz before i fry my mobo or gpu or both?

105mhz is not going to fry anything.

Anything past 115-120mhz you risk damaging sata drives and such though.

I used to run 110 on all my boards as it does give you a slight advantage in benchmarks, but my P5Q only lets me do 101mhz.

to Amd:
probably so.
to advancedgeek:
i have no idea why your mobo would change the pcie to 1x when you overclock. unless it is some sort of safety feature, but i dont know. i am unfamiliar with gb boards, sorry.
how are you checking the bus speed?
if nothing else, it is OK to set at 102 or 105 or whatever, but it is weird that it does that.

it killed my mobo:( and i was only at 105, btu from what i herd the nvidia mobo's are sesative to the pci-e frquency oc, and should really only be done in time of benchmarking i left it at 105.
