Stock Settings before new components??

Hey guys,

I am thinking about buying a new video card and installing a couple more GBs of RAM but I have a question. I used to be into overclocking and my RAM and my CPU are both currently overclocked a bit. Will I NEED to change everything back to stock settings before installing more RAM and a new video card?

You should put the ram back to stock since the new sticks may not run at the same settings but you shouldn't need to change anything for installing the new video card.

just try to get the same ram u have and it should be fine.

Take your CPU and ram back to stock, install new ram, and return CPU/ram to old over clocks.

and if it fails then you got some work to do, if your clocks are similar to what other people get then ur new set if its the same set will most likely run it to.
