When it comes to motherboards I m completely baffled. The 9600 GT is probably the best I could have gotten for the price. The MSI had the best rating and pretty decent cooler so I went with it. Some one please recommend me a decent Motherboard lol. I don't want to SLI in the future but I will be doing some over clocking.

+1 of the Tp45HP. Zmatt and nosboost both have that board and it is an incredible ovcerclocker.

If you want to save some money on the case you could get the Antec 300 and add two front led intake fans. That's what I did and I couldn't be happier with the case.

With that motherboard will some ordinary G.Skill @800mhz work? Or will I need to buy DDR2 1066mhz ram instead? What I m asking is, will it just downclock to the rams frequency, or will that not work?

You can use DDR2 800, and can run at that frequency, it just depends on your fsb to ram ratio and how much you want to overclock. Like if you want to overclock it to 3.6ghz then 800 will be fine. But if you want to take it past 4.0ghz then you'll need some 1066 ram.
