Heh, ok you got me on the typo - it's a common misspelling, but there is a subgenre called management, but yes you won't find a section in your games shop for this, but then neither will you find one for "god games", or "dating sims" all subgenres that intermix with the general game types. Simulation is too vague a term. Gran Turismo is a racing game -predominantly-, but you didn't give us the option for this popular genre.

Simulation all the way
Gran Turismo is the best. Gt3 is cool got 53% of the game completed and working on super license. Also cant wait for gt4 which is coming this october i think.

OTHER - I am still a big fan of the light gun shooters.
Eg. Time Crisis, Time Crisis 2, Time Crisis 3, Ninja Assualt, Resident Evil Gun Survivor 2, Resident Evil : Dead Aim, End Game.

I am thinking about getting Crisis Zone with my tax return.
