Hi, I recently experienced this hard drive failure, and i'm sure it's not hardware based, it was a seagate 500gb in ntfs format, used to be inside an external enclouser as an external drive, it suddenly said unable to read, and asks me to format, i done some troubleshooting: unpluged it and now its pluged into my desktop, I used a program call freeUndelete and was able to access some of the content "marked as deleted" inside the drive, but don't see most of what i'm looking for, but it indeed is displaying the content/folder names inside of the drive. if anyone know how I can restore this will be greately appreciated~ thanks in advanced.
