Hi, I was looking at the new Antec Neopower 480W (beautiful isn't it)

I did the calculation to see what the real wattage is, but i dunno what to do if there are 2 12v rails . . .

here's the specs :

+5v @ 38A
+3.3v @ 30A
+12v2 @ 15A
+12v1 @ 18A

whats the formula to figure it out though . . . cause somehow im getting 580watts . . . .

What about 580 watts? Is that the estimate of what the sum of your components require?

no theres some formula thats like :

2/3 (3.3v x ___Amps + 5v x ______Amps) + 12v x ______Amps = x Watts

Hmm... Either way, if your system only requires 380 watts, than the Antec is all you need.

The reason I like Antec so much is because u can push them to their limits. You can run a 480 watt system on a 480 watt PSU and not have to worry about any h/w failures or electrical fires.

well i really like that neopower, especially because of the cable clutter management AND first antec psu with active PFC
