search the forums for anything on dual channel, didnt find what i needed.

1)In order to utilize dual channel mode do i have to buy a dual channel kit?

2)If not, can i utilize dual channel mode with different brands or series of memory?

3)if i have 8gb of ram(4 ocz plat. 4 ocz reaper), will dual channel mode be utilized per each series?

1) Yes, you need dual channel RAM for dual channel mode.

2) I'm pretty sure you can mix ram, but it's not recommended.

3) Yes, all of the RAM will be dual channel mode.

i guess i should have elaborated question 1. i meant to say- can i buy 1 2gb stick and then later buy another 2gb stick and still use them in dual channel mode?
