hey guys i get this error while trying to access the link above and it worked fine before but now it won't even let me view that thread at all. is it just me or what? and i get this error:
Code:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 50331648 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 21681 bytes) in /var/www/vhosts/techist.com/httpdocs/pc/showthread.php on line 1265

I don't think that this is going to be something you can fix as a visitor. The admin would have to fix it by adding a new limit in a file. Either way, you probably should either PM someone or place it in the Feedback section if you haven't already.

It came up for me in Opera 9.60, Firefox 3.0.3, IE7 and IE8.

It'll come up on any browser because it's a server side php error. Someone would need to add a line in the function thats being called on that line, or most likely just adjust/add a line in the root ini file.

Yea, doesn't come up for me either. Seen these errors on multiple sites of mine. I deal with php more than I would like to and I'm just used to them. But after you fix it once, they never creep back up if you allocate motre than enough in the value you need to add (depending on the host and whatever is being called on that line number) But, like I said, it's probably just going to be something simple to adjust or add in the root ini for php

I didn't see anything in the vB options that would help (that I could tell), so I guess Larry will have to look into it.
