Hes tryed diferent graphics cards and pc's. Nothing has worked.

I tried it with another cable from my moms pc and It works just fine, so I guess the diagnosis is Bad Cable.

(should be using DVI, seeing as how you have 6800gt)

No I dont have a 6800GT, thats for my future system, look closer

good good, just replace the cable and all should be fine, so its good news. Try cleaning all the pins on the cable that apears to be faulty. Tell us if that works. It could be just dust, also try bending the cable in different places, and see if anything hapens.

ah a bent pin escaped my eye, didnt even see that, maybe I can straighten that out and everything will be OK.

Monitor cable end, check its not damaged or coverd in dust.

I guess you should have checked in the first place. Haha.
