hey guys
i have a WD "book" external hard drive and it fell from my desk and all the info is gone. It has a WD Caviar SE internal 250gb HDD.
Is it possible to install a new and bigger 500gb HDD in the same case to replace the broken one?

It uses a SATA drive with a standard power plug and then it goes into a adapter with 2 firewire output and one usb output.

thanks

There should be no problem if the interface adapter didn't get damaged. The only problem I see is you'll lose twice as much data the next time it falls.:D
