I have never built a computer before but I am going to soon. So can someone please tell me how to install an ATX motherboard into an ATX computer case.

Line up the holes in the motherboard with the holes in the case, screw in the metal stand offs, set the motherboard on the metal stand offs, screw screws through the motherboard into the metal standoffs. Just look at it and it should explain itself.

That's one way of doing it....you'll see that the holes are spaced along the same parallel so one you get where the first screws go the others you should be able to simply guess by looking at their placement on the motherboard in relation to the first ones (usually the case).

Also, don't forget to put the I/O face plate on before you install the motherboard....a little bit harder to do it after the fact.

Lastly, check the manual that came with your motherboard installation should be covered in there as well.
