Hello!
My sister is considering purchasing one of the small size/low weight laptops which come with Linux installed, but Windows XP is prefered.
The laptop doesn't have an internal CD drive (as it's small) so we are considering getting a cheap external drive. My question is: will the external CD drive be recognised by the computer in time for it to boot Windows XP from the CD, or will the drive only be recognised ones the operating system has loaded?
Thanks!
Nick.
