Need a PC with four monitors

Matrox has a triple head product that splits 1 DVI into three. If you have a dual DVI card, you can use the other port and then you will have 4 DVI ports. If you have a good card, say a 4850, then it would be fine for anything except gaming. Although for a work environment you might be better off with a professional card.

The Matrox GXM units (Graphics eXpansion Module) are nice for gaming, but, if you only have one video card, you're actually better off buying a 2nd if you have an extra PCI-Express port for it, especially considering the price comparison.. The GXMs are only worthwhile if you want to use SLI/Crossfire or can't add another video card..

I recall there being an ATI card either in the 3000 or 4000 series range that had 4 DVI outputs...

It was the 3870 X2
