IDE help

[HPD]

I have 2 HDD that are SATA, I want to add an IDE HDD to get everything out of it, unfortunately when I connect it it doesnt read it, aside from my system not booting up, I did add the jumper for slave but nothing.

If anyone can explain what I can do so my system recognizes IDE

Try using Cable Select instead of slave. by the way have you tried going in the disk management menu?are you sure its not there?coz a newly installed hard disk needs to be formatted first before you can actually see it.try going to disk management first before you change the jumpers, if you havent done it yet.
