because in some of the reviews the core 216 was overclocked, so to be fair both should be. yeah the gtx 260 was, but the 216 looks like its competing at a higher level, after all its pretty close to a gtx 280.

ya but its factory oc, so it comes into effect with the price, also they do have aa on in the canucks reveiw, look at the specs each test has liek 4xaa if not more in soem ocasions, the gtx260 always won.
Wasn't the GTX 260 supposed to originally be aimed @ HD 4870, but when they found out HD 4870 was better than they thought they made the GTX 260 Core 216?
Yeah they are close.
If you want price/performance, then go with ATI.
If you want to fold, then NVIDIA.
We need to help both side because if one goes down, then the other one won't have competition so no price drop.
