If you plan on doing dual monitors, then you should get the 4870 1gb or two 4850's and crossfire them. Here is an article on best cards for the money, and talks a little about 4850 Crossfire setup:
PCI Express Interface: $325 and up - Tom's Hardware : Best Video Cards For The Money: Oct '08

Go with the Sunbeam cooler, it already comes with everything you need and the T-X2 paste and is a better value.

Why do you need a 1TB drive and a 250GB drive? A 1TB drive is more than enough, just make a small partition for the OS on the 1TB, and make another partition for storage.

gonna be gaming more, and folding when im at work.

as for the monitor,i plan to dual them, a 24" witha 22" maybe. prolly gonna get the 22" first cuz its cheaper right now. then save up some cash and get the 24", unless there a really good 24" thats a good deal right now.

the 1tb harddrive is mainly for storage, i used a lot of storage. and the 250gb is for the os, id rather have them separately cuz i believe they run better right? 250gb can be replace for a smaller one, but i dont wanna spend to much on it. 7200rpm seem like it was decent for OS hd.

i could get 2 4850 and crossfire them, but how far does it outperform a single 4870. i plan on getting a 2nd 4870 in a couple months and crossfire them.

Dont buy the sapphire, sapphire will drill you in the backside if you ever need to RMA it.

And the 512 model is more than enough for a 24" monitor. The 1gb model only really comes into play when you get into 30" monitors.
