My new hsf comes in tomorrow. Ive seen a lot of people get 4ghz or so in the e7200.
Ive seen some crazy stuff with them.

seems fishy why didnt he post a cpuz screen in it, when i have my q660 @ an 8x multi and @ a 475fsb 3dmarks reads it as 4.25ghz.

yes, 3dmark unfortunately is mostly cpu dependent. You can get by w/ mediocre cards and a nice cpu. Imagine a 3870x2 and a q9650. I bet that would take first no probs.


Synergy what clocks are you running w/ that processor?

I did a 06 benchie last night on my newly built machine. Its e8600 at 4.0, 4 gb corsair dominator 8500 at stock speed, 4870x2 at 800/930 (latest drivers), all running on asus p5q deluxe. Running vista 64.

Running the default res for 3dmark06 i got 19800.

Does that seem about right?

Id like to try getting my cpu to at least 4.5 tonight, maybe that would take me close to 21k mark??. Ive seen some people getting 22k on very similar setup to mine, how are they doin it?
