This is an old one: I'm getting the Blue Screen of Death quite often. I'm using Windows XP Home Edition (Service Pack 1). To be vague, it usually points to a nVidia driver and says "Try changing video adapters" (I'm using an XFX Geforce 6800 GT 256mb, by the way).
Do you think a good, clean reinstall of my OS will sort this problem out? I've ran a PC health check boot-up disk which found no errors, aswell as a memory scanner which likewise found nothing.

When did this problem start? Did you install any hardware/software on or about the day or same time it started?

Can you please list your current configuration (Hardware, PC type, etc)

I think the first BSD I got was before I uprgraded my ram from 512mb to 1024mb (which was the first thing I upgraded since I bought my rig last October), but I can't remember exactly when this was or what I was installing (if anything) at the time.

My rig:-

2.17ghz AMD Athlon XP 3000+
Asus A7N8X Deluxe
1.5gb of PC3200 DDR SDRAM
127gb Hitachi HD (not sure of exact specs)
XFX Geforce 6800GT 256mb
Creative Soundblaster Audigy 2 w/ 6.1 Creative speakers
19" Neovo F-419 TFT
JSP Sprite 550w PSU
Samsung DVD-ROM (not sure of model)
DVD-R/W (not sure of make/model)
3.5 floppy drive
2x 80mm extracting fans...

... so there you go :).
