hey guys, i have a Pentium 4 socket 775 cpu in my dell computer, and i am trying to transfer it into a different case. so i need a new and cheap mobo. i was looking at this one. will this work??
Newegg.com - Foxconn G31MV-K LGA 775 Intel G31 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards

and i was also planning to buy this cpu cooler
Newegg.com - EVERCOOL EC-PT12-9525EA 95mm Ever Lubricate CPU Cooler - CPU Fans & Heatsinks

plz let me know what you guys think.
i will be using the same hard drive, and 2x512 corsair DDR2 533 ram

i am giving this computer to my dad. he will just use it for internet, email.
thanks a lot

those g31 motherboards do not have support for P4 cpu's. i dunno if you could even get a mobo for support for a P4 anymore. dw about the cooler, its prob not much better than the stock intel one anyway.

i looked at biostar's G31, and they seem to support the Pentium 4's.
BIOSTAR

does that mean all G31 supports Pentium 4's??
