why is AMD as fast as INTEL

for all you guys.. guess what i learned :):):)... AMD are coming out with new chips (again) that will be of intel speeds... a 2.8ghz i believe processor the fx-55 or 4200+ and 4000+... they are socket 939 so all you 3500 and 3800 and fx-53(939) guys will be able to upgrade.. hehe they gonna be fast :)
 
actually, fx-55 will be 2.6GHz . . . it can be overclocked to 2.8

they will be releasing 4000+, not 4200+

also, no point in upgrading a 3500+, 3800+, of fx-53 . . . they're all still good
 
Benefits the company because they have more waffer space, thus they can produce alot more.
 
in a nutshell, its cheaper for amd to make, and u get better performance. they currently use 120nm core.
 
Ok, so the FX-55 or whatever can be overclocked to JUST 2.8?!?!?! Come on now, Intel's well into the 3 gigs. Can't AMD pick up the pace a little?!?!
