ok,so my mom wants to get a new desktop cause her old one is a slow piece of junk,so i want to now what the fastest and best desktop she can get for about $500-$600,it will only be use for stuff like e-mailing and web browsing but it has to be really really fast.

oh and $500-$600 for a whole new set up(as in computer and monitor, not just the computer)

and just so you know what shes used to she has a work laptop that runs windows 95 on it,sad truly sad.

anyway in short new (really fast)desktop set up for $500-$600(Canadian dollars)

and it has to run windows vista,so no macs.

the brand that would be preferred would be acer, but it's not too too big of a deal if it's not.

thanks guys.

But yeah, you will have to buy and build it yourself. If you need help doing that, just ask.

Either that, or goto Dell, down side is slower CPU but not too bad, and a smaller screen:

His from Canada, that's why I think everyone has been avoiding this thread. Because TigerDirect prices are just plain awful.
