Help me choose a video card

Hi guys, this is my first post here. I've been considering ATI vs. Nvidia for about a week or so and I'm really having a hard time deciding which to go with. Can somebody help me out here? I would like to know the pros and cons of each brand before I decide to make my purchase.

No matter which card you choose, I recommend the 4850

It cheap, can overclock really nice, and its in the ati latest 4800 series.

I was hoping to keep the price below $100. But I want to play this game my mom bought me for my birthday. I think it's called Crysis, lemme go check.

EDIT: Yeah, it's Crysis. So I should get an ATI video card then? Why? List some pros and cons please.

I'd say an 8800GT ($120) at the very least.
