Video Upgrade Question?

I am getting my new XFX 8800GS today to replace my XFX 7600GT. I'm almost sure how to do the upgrade but I just want to make sure that I am doing everything correctly. When I go to put in the new video card, I first have to uninstall the old video drivers, then shut down, put in the new card, start up, install new drivers, and then restart. Is this correct?

Just FYI and am using Vista 32-bit.
