Well I've successfully built my first computer. Have the temps at the right places, tuned the bios good enought for know, and have gotten the correct benchmarks for my system...at stock settings.

3dmarks06 = 20185
FurMark = 6100

Next on my list is a monitor, I was looking at these two...and leaning towards the Acer for the price.

Newegg.com - Acer P244Wbii Black 24" 2ms HDMI 16:9 Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 20000:1 - LCD Monitors

Newegg.com - SAMSUNG ToC T240HD Rose-Black 24" 5ms HDMI Widescreen HDTV Monitor 300 cd/m2 DC 10000:1 Built in DTV Tuner & Dolby Digital Surround Speakers - LCD Monitors

any other suggestions are welcome..

oh yeah a pic of the machine.

well I can buy either 24 inch Acer this week or wait another 2 weeks to get the samsung. I'd rather spend less money on the Acer. But if the samsung is worth the asking price then neaby. But I'm probally going to end up getting the acer...since I getting a 42inch or 50inch tv in the near future.

Which acer monitor is the better pick?

I think this is the newer model, but cheaper by 10 dollars? but the resolution is at 1920x1050. This one also says 1080p
Newegg.com - Acer P244Wbii Black 24" 2ms HDMI 16:9 Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 20000:1 - LCD Monitors

While this one is the costumer choice award winner and has a 1920x1200 resolution. This one doesn't say 1080p but has a HDMI hookup.
Newegg.com - Acer P243WAid Black-Silver 24" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor with HDCP Support 400 cd/m2 3000:1 ACM - LCD Monitors

Any thoughts?
