And I have no idea what to do. I'm not computer illiterate, but I'm still worried that I won't be able to build the computer. Any help you guys could give me would be more than appreciated.

I plan to play mainly Warhammer, and hopefully this computer will last me a while through any other games that come out. =p

My budget is no more than $1,500

I'd rather have an Intel processor (never used an AMD)

Looking nice is a plus, but I'd sacrifice blue lights and such for better performance.

I'd like a 22 inch monitor, but this doesn't have to be included in the budget (I can use an old monitor until I get a new one)

I was wondering about all the sites that custom build a computer for you. Are they over priced like brand name computers?

+1 to that build,

get the psu off here though its about $85 and free shipping:
Corsair TX 750W ATX 12V Power Supply - CMPSU-750TX - Buy.com

also i would get this backplate with that cooler:
Newegg.com - XIGMATEK ACK-I7751 Retention Bracket - CPU Fans & Heatsinks

another thing i would change is get xp pro 64 but thats just me :)

I just purchased a rig for 1500. Ofcourse this doesnt include a screen.

Intel Duo 8400 Wolfdale
MSI HD 4870x2
Giga P45C DS3R ATX
2x 2GB DDR3 @ 1600 Gskill
Samsung 250GB 7200
LG 20x DVD/CD RW
CoolerMaster 750W
Antec 900 Case
Zalman 110 CPU Cooler

My only concern now is my screen, which i havnt figured out yet.

The x2 is really overkill for 1680x1050 resolution though. And vista home premium 64 has less problems than xp 64 does.
