So just putting the Accelero on my 9800GT and the freakn RAM sinks wont stay on....are they that important...it is the BFG OC version.
Secondly, the stock cooler had thermal pads for other chips that are no longer touching a cooler...is that an issue as the accelero only touches the cooler on the primary and the ramsinks?
[edit] If important, any recommended adhesives?
Edit #2: Here is my dilema, my 8800gt is too loud for my HTPC but the aboce accelero is too big to close the lid...about 1/2 an inch or so....any other, smaller coolers for the 8800/9800gt that might work? What if I chop the top 1/2" off the accelero?
