ToughPower Thermaltake 700w

Alright I made a post the other day how my computer randomly shut off... So i thought it was the motherboard, but i had today off so i decided to do some stuff... I installed my thermaltake 700w PSU.. IT DOESN'T HAVE A 4 PIN CONNECTOR FOR CPU. It has an 8-pin one that i plugged half in, but the computer wouldn't boot, but if i hooked everything else, except the cpu connector in, it would boot, obviously it can't run without power to the cpu, but the harddrive booted, and psu booted.... Any ideas? what do i do about the 4-pin connector?

Delete post i r retarded... I was using pci-express connector and not the 8pin 4+4 connector
