Buying 800 ram and O/C or 1066

Just wondering, if I were to buy 800 ram, could I overclock it easily to 1066? Would it ever overclock to 1200? I could save like 50-60 bucks buying the 800. And im getting a 2x2gb kit. Would the 1066 be a better choice and overclock to 1200? Im getting a p45 board also

If you look at the specs, the 800 Kit is pretty crapily spec'ed as its 5-5-5-15, when the other is DDR2 1066 and has the same specs but that is fine at that high of the clock speed... I'd say get the second kit because the first one is pretty bad

+1. The first kit's timings aren't good for DDR2 800.

If i were to get 800 ram, i need 4-4-4-12 right? And thats the fastest timing for 800 ram possible (or reasonable), correct?

Edit: and how is 5-5-5-18? Is that decent speeds for 1066?

No its not the fastest, there are 3-3-3-6 kits that are DDR2 800

If you never plan to get SLI then get this motherboard:

And instead of the Sunbeam CPU cooler, get the Xigmatek Rifle:
